ROADROCKET HIGH-SPEED INTERNET
Newroads Telecom of Fort Smith, one of the regions fastest growing Telecommunications companies, announces the launching of their high-speed Internet accelerator service “RoadRocket”. The new service can be downloaded by existing customers, directly from the company’s website. The RoadRocket service accelerates current dialup speeds up to six times faster for web browsing and email services. The new service utilizes special caching and data compression methods to decrease the original file size and increase the flow of data. The accelerator also rewrites the images into a smaller format allowing for faster downloads. RoadRocket proves to be less expensive than DSL or cable and more secure than cable connections. The new service also includes a Pop-Up Blocker. The service is only an additional $1.95 per month and can be added to any existing Newroads Internet Plan. The company is offering a “ first month FREE” credit to all for customers who choose to test the new service.
“The biggest challenge we have right now is keeping up with the growth,” says President Bill Stuckey. “Our telephone line service requests have grown dramatically in 2003 and we expect continued trends for 2004. We are very excited about the interest surrounding the new RoadRocket accelerator service, because it brings new value for the Dial-up Internet user. The new high-speed service will boost the speed of Dial-up services; yet still afford the customer a very low-cost connection. Newroads also plans to introduce a new server based virus protection service in the spring.
